Track leads, update status, and convert to customers.
Lead pipeline stages
SurfaceIQ uses four simple statuses:
- New
- Contacted
- Won
- Lost
Use these to track where every lead stands.
Update lead status
- Go to Dashboard -> CRM & leads.
- Find the lead card.
- Use the status dropdown to update.
- Status updates save automatically.
Convert a lead to a customer
- Open the lead card.
- Click Convert to customer.
- The lead becomes a customer and the status is set to Won.
Customer records
Each customer shows:
- Name, email, phone
- Contacts
- Properties
Use customer records to keep repeat work organized.
Best practices
- Move leads to Contacted after your first call.
- Use Won only after the customer approves the proposal.
- Add notes in the project to preserve context.
