Account and Team Setup

Create your account, verify email, and set up your team roles.

Sign up and verify your email

  1. Go to the signup page.
  2. Enter your name, email, organization name, and password.
  3. Submit the form.
  4. Check your email for a verification link.
  5. Click the link to verify.

If you do not verify your email, you will not be able to sign in.

Sign in checklist

  • Use the same email you signed up with.
  • Confirm your email is verified.
  • Make sure the password has at least 10 characters.
  • Clear browser cache if you see an error after multiple attempts.

Roles and permissions

SurfaceIQ uses simple roles:

  • Admin: full access. Can manage pricing and team settings.
  • Contractor: can create projects, estimates, and work orders.
  • Viewer: read-only access.

If you cannot edit something, ask an admin to upgrade your role.

Organization settings

Go to Dashboard -> Settings:

  • Organization name is used on proposals and reports.
  • Invite team members from this page.
  • Pricing overrides are visible here for quick adjustments.

Invite your team

  1. Go to Settings -> Invite Member.
  2. Enter the teammate email.
  3. Choose a role.
  4. Send invite.

They will receive an email to set their password and join your organization.
