When to send a proposal

Send a proposal after you save an estimate. Proposals are generated from the latest estimate version.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the project.
  2. Scroll to the Estimates panel.
  3. Click Send proposal.
  4. Enter the customer email.
  5. Add terms and conditions if needed.
  6. Click Send proposal.

You will get a proposal link. You can copy it and send it manually if needed.

What the customer sees

  • A clean proposal view.
  • The estimate summary.
  • Any terms you added.
  • An approval action.

Suggested terms (simple)

  • Quote valid for 30 days.
  • Final price may change if scope changes.
  • Work schedule depends on weather.
  • Payment due upon completion (or add your policy).

If the proposal fails to send

  • Confirm the customer email is valid.
  • Ensure you have a saved estimate.
  • Try again from a fresh browser session.
